Petros Klampanis Group at Stavros Niarchos Foundation

Raised in Greece, Petros Klampanis has been influenced by both Mediterranean and Balkan music. After his musical studies in Athens and Amsterdam, he continued his career in New York, where he has lived and worked for the past nine years. All of these influences appear in his music in unexpected ways. Shortly before the launch of his new album, Chroma, by the New York label, Motema Records, Petros Klampanis is visiting Athens for a single concert at the SNFCC. Onstage, he is joined by pianist and composer, Stavros Lantsias, and a unique string quartet.
